This was my second 3D piece. I had just figured out how to pull the canvas back while simultaneously pushing it towards you. I was still experimenting with the different media and loved the malleability of styrofoam, but unfortunately, not it's durability. I also loved taking painting the entire surface in varying shades and tones of one color. It gave the painting the feeling of being underwater and watching the current moving sand along the streambed, getting caught up among some rocks before being swept along again. Or perhaps a snapshot view of the surface of some strange planet or moon whirling by.
