Oil on canvas with masonite, wood and thread 17"x17"x5" Inches 2023
This idea has been niggling away at me for a while now. I could feel it pulling at me and it kept going round and round in my head. Yes, I could make a 3D canvas painting, but could I stack it and make it come off the wall more? With a bit of trial and error, I figured it out! And I'm honestly pretty happy with it! The sheets of masonite are all arranged on top of each other spiraling out, and all of the elements in this repeat except for one central point in the middle for my take on a Radial Array.
Please note that while you will own the physical painting, the rights to the work are retained by me, allowing, but not limited to, use in advertising, websites, or for reproductions.
