There are little moments in life that bring me an inordinate amount of joy - the first sip of a Frappuccino after popping the seal, watching leaves swirl down the street, a stream burbling along, seeing bubbles unexpectedly, a cappuccino in a fancy tea cup, a good morning text, a fresh blanket and fuzzy socks right out of the dryer. This painting felt like one of those moments for me.

I hope this painting conveys that sense of contentment and joy. You might not know where you're going or how long it'll take to get there, but that doesn't seem to matter. After all, you're soaking it all in and enjoying the moment and Sailing Away.
